Who changed your life?
That question sat at the heart of the 2026 Ubuntu Gala in Johannesburg. For the young people in Ubuntu’s care, the answer is a teacher who noticed, a counsellor who listened, a nurse who cared.
We were inspired by their stories, shared through song and in their own voices, in an evening that celebrated what Ubuntu means: a community that shows up for one another.
To everyone who joined us and our generous sponsors, thank you. Your generosity powers Ubuntu’s STEAM programme, giving students the tools to think, create and solve problems, from science labs to national robotics competitions.
Together, we’re creating bright futures for a new generation of leaders.
