THE WORLD IS IN CRISIS

Our community still depends on US

The COVID-19 crisis is especially dire for the most vulnerable communities, where food and medical care are needed urgently. Thousands of children and their families in Port Elizabeth's townships are relying on us - now, more than ever.

Ubuntu serves a disproportionately vulnerable population, including pregnant mothers living with HIV, immuno-compromised children, and elderly heads of households. The lockdown has seen unemployment, food insecurity and domestic abuse soar overnight.

To combat the crisis, Ubuntu has transformed its campus into a COVID-19 response center, providing:

Food parcels to 30,000 community members

Life-saving medical services and distribution of PPE to surrounding clinics

Remote psychosocial and education support

OUR COMMUNITY IS RELYING ON US, AND WE MUST ACT NOW.

Help us keep families safe during this unprecedented crisis. Make a gift today.

THANK YOU

In times of crisis, vulnerable communities are at the greatest risk. Thank you for helping care for our children and keep our families safe.

Ubuntu Pathways breaks the cycle of poverty by providing South Africa’s most vulnerable children with what all children deserve - everything, every day. Through an integrated support system of health, education, and household stability, they have pioneered a pathway out of poverty - from first steps to first jobs. Today, because of Ubuntu, over 2,000 children are on pathways out of poverty.
